My car idle's at 1500 and won't slow down even when it warms up.
The code is misfire 01, I have replaced the plugs and the wires. I clear the code and it will idle fast but seems to run rough, as I accelerate it runs fine at highway speeds and when I slow down the service light comes on. The car still gets around 40 mpg. it just won't idle down.

Just to add to this one check the hose that runs from the pcv to the intake.Its a short hose that runs from the intake manifold to the valve cover.See if its colasped or has holes in it very common on that car for a damaged leaking hose.Sounds like a vacuum leak though.
