My wife's car wouldn't go into gear the otherday, the clutch pedal felt okay but there was gear noise when trying to go into reverse and it would not go into any forward gears.If the car was put into gear with the engine off the car would go into gear okay but the clutch would not engage. After putting car into gear with clutch down and rocking car back and forth the clutch engaged after a small clunk noise like something releasing and the car was able to go into gear and seemed to drive ok.
