Pontiac Sunfire Gas Problem
Temperature gage is at the high end of the normal range. Water hose is cold on right side and hot on the left side. Water does boil in coolant reservoir when car is running on idle or driving for sometime. Smell of antifreeze or smell of rubber is evident after some driving. Smoke is visible when hood is up and car running on fast idle(purposely) coming from the fan. I am thinking of thermostat or radiator. Tell me it is not a blown head gasket. All help is appreciated. Thanks.
