I wasn't probing every singly wire with it just the ones I knew should be hot. I decided to stop being lazy and went to get the meter. I'm talking to a guy online now about ordering one. Hopefully it can be here by the first of the week.

Yes, I eventually found a wire in the harness block behind the air filter housing that was burned up.
