Pontiac Grand Am Heater Problem
First off. Just swapped the motor and trans. Now for some reason my heater selector will not divert the heat to defrost or floor. No matter where I put it, it comes out of the dash. My second question is why does my o.d. not work all the time. I can drive it one day and it works great. The next it will stay about 500rpm higher than it should when cruising at 75 down the freeway

check connections on the trans for the overdrive????? did it work on the other car???
the blend door motor may be bad for the heater. make sure there is vacuum at the control head from the motor
