1997 Pontiac Grand Am Ignition lock

My steering wheel is in a locked position and my wheels are straight. I have stuck my key in the ignition lock and the lock will not turn. I have try shooting WD40 in the lock and jiggling the key. I've also jiggled the key while moving the steering wheel slightly back. Not sure what I can do other than to take it to a shop.

Try taping on the key hole without the key in it lightly with a hammer. Then see if it will turn you could also do the same with a key in it hitting the key lightly. Do you have another key to try?If it turns you will have to replace the lock cylinder.
