Quick Connect heater hose on Firebird
1997 Pontiac Firebird w/ 3.8 L.
Need to replace heater hose. Quick connect fitting at the water pump. Can this fitting be removed or replaced with something else. I have some 5/8 " replacement hose but cannot connect it to the water pump without the connecter.
