Car: 1997 Pontiac Bonneville (not supercharged) 155,000

My car shuts off when you drive it, completely shutsdown, if you wait about 15 minutes it usually starts back up.It can do this going just 1 mile or it may go up to 3 miles before shutting down. Security light is always on. There are times it will never start. There are time it may start, left running...but if you turn it off, it wont start. A new fuel pump was put on, not the answer..didnt change one thing. Did the whole battery disconnect procedure in an attempt to reset security, did not work. I am hoping you are the answer to my woes! :)

The picture shows the hood slightly up to keep a good charge in the battery...the battery is a good battery...but it sits there because unable to drive it....weather is avg -8 to 10 without windchill..so...
