Rough idle...
HI,i replaced the timing chain on a 97 nissan 4x4 2.4 pick up.. it fired right up..know i can't control the idling... i adjusted the air mix screw, tps?. timing and no luck...can you please give an idea !!! thanks...

Recheck the timing belt installation. Were the gears and chain timed correctly?

100% ...the engine fired right up after it was done !!!what it confuses me it seems to be a air leak under the throttle !!! and i do not see any vac. line off !!!

Firing right up does not necessarily mean the timing chain had been timed correctly.
Use carb cleaner to check for vacuum leakages. Ensure there are no leakages between the MAF and throttle body, along the air hoses.
Check the ignition timing.
