Timing marks

When dissasemble the timing belt, I forget to left the engine in timing mark. When assembled the new timing belt a rotatate manuallt the crankshaft it rotate with a lot force. Its possible to damage the valves? The engine never stuck.

DO NOT force the crankshaft if it becomes stuck. Back off and leave all pistons at least 20 degrees of TDC. Forcing the crankshaft would damage the valves.

Turn the camshaft to the correct position before attempting to set the crankshaft to TDC.
