My 97 galant died while driving at 35 mph the car acted like i threw it in park at 35 mph. the car then made it home but when u shift from park to drive or reverse the engine like jumps forward and doesnt move forward? what does this sound like the motor mont? if so how much is it to repair?

--Sounds more like a transmission problem-get it pressure tested to find out more what's going on.
