starter will not engage flywheel
bought a new starter, and checked the battery

So you installed a new starter or havent yet?You had the battery tested and it was good?Also made sure the battery cables are clean and tight?Does the starter work or click at all when trying to start the car.Do you have a multimeter to do some testing?

I have installed a new starter, I tested the battery and it was good , also made sure all the cables are clean and tight, starter spins but does not turn over the engine

What did the old starter do the same thing the new one does?
