When the car is in drive or reverse the power windows go out

NOTE: A New Generation Star (NGS) Tester (007 00500) or equivalent is required for testing the VAPS system.

Before performing individual component or system tests,  check the following for possible cause of system malfunction.

? Tire Pressure
? Mechanical Condition Of Steering
? Power Steering Fluid Level
? Pump Pressure
? Faulty Fuse No. 8,  20 Or 23
? Loose Or Corroded Connectors
? Damaged Wiring
also check to make sure your battery and charging system are in good shape your tensioner may not be holding the belt tight enough as well.
