We need to replace a neutral safety switch in a 97 mercury sable. We read in the book for the car that to replace it you need to use a special alignment tool. We want to change it ourselves and do not have this tool. Would we be able to do this without the tool? Or is the tool necessary to properly replace it? Thanks!
