I have a Mercedes Benz c230 from 1997. There is a very small light about the size of a pencil eraser between the steering wheel and **** that you use to turn the headlights on/off. Note: this is below the dash so it is not a dash warning light. When driving, and even when turning the car off the small light flashes red 1-2-3 times again and again. When I turn the car off the light remains flashing while the emergency lights are also flashing. When I lock/alarm the car the emergency flashers turn off but the red light continues to one two three flash. What does this mean and can I fix it myself?
