1997 Lincoln Mark VIII Repair Question

Heater

Im trying to fix the heater in my 1997 lincoln mark VIII i changed the thermostat and coolant my friend said it does not suck in the coolant like it suppose to and that there is air in the hoses and that i need to find the plug to drian the air out what do you know i should do

On top of the engine, theres a small plug with a 1/4 drive socket. Remove this plug and run the engine. It should "burp" all the air out.
