1997 Lincoln Continental Repair Question

I have a . i have the common "oil filter adapter gasket" leak. there are 2 part numbers available for the gastket. one with a large opening and one with a small one. is there anyway to tell with my vin what part is correct?

I need the correct size gasket.

A dealer should be able to advise which gasket with the VIN, try them.
