Lexus LX 450 Heater Problem
Steam coming from the motor near the windsheild- leaking under the SUV- meter went to hot

Check the heater core hoses. It is most likely a hose, since you have steam coming from underhood and heater core hoses connect to tubes coming out of firewall.
Could also be heater core tubes.
