1997 Infiniti QX Repair Question

Infiniti qx4
Hi, i have a 97' infiniti qx4 and once i reach 55mph the whole car starts to shake back and forth mainly coming from the front end of the car. im trying to figure out how it is gonna cost to fix, and what the problem is if you have any input plaza help, i kno a little about cars. i myself believe it has something to do with the tire boot. but am unsure once again professional advice needed thank you

Most probably the U joints or CV shaft inner joints are bad. Get them checked. As to cost it would depend on what needs to be replaced.

I have the same problem on my QX4. I have new tires/balanced...and new struts. Three people have checked the front end but have found no problem. Have you been able to find the problem?
