Car squeals when turned on and when taking off, but not to much when driving. The water pump is ran off timing chain would this happen if pump has failed, would there be a leak since its internal? Will a leak at the end of a hose cause car to overheat. Car overheats after 8 miles or so, will cool down while accelerating but overheats when I Iet off the gas.

The water pump can make a squeeling noise when bad. If it is, it is on its last legs before breaking apart.

Yes, any leak will cause low fluid and overheat.

Look at the thermostat for possible as well as your radiator issue from the other post.

Get it pressure checked to verify any leaks and have them listen to your noise. It may be just a belt.
