What do you mean by stick? You mean you are not able to move the shifter and if engine is off, you can do it?

I am trying to understand your problem but you are not helping.

Do you mean to say the shift lever works but the gears remains stuck in whatever gears you have engaged?
Or the shift lever cannot be moved?

The transmission has gone into limp mode and when this occurs, trouble codes would be triggerred. You need a scan to retrieve the trouble codes and proceed from there. The D4 light would most probably be blinking while you are driving.
