What is the most likely cause of a loud grinding noise while turning at low speed or a shift in weight?

Are you sure the noise is coming from the front? What about the rear? U-joints ok? I tried to look-up grinding noises in your service bulletins, nothing caught my attention?

Can you safely raise and support the front of vehicle, roll the tires, can you get any noise or feel anything? It may be that you can't get the noise without a load on it?
