I have a problem with the automatic gearbox, don't get it work, change the oil and now think its something with the torque converter. No gears.
I cannot get any gears and the gearbox was out of the Ranchero about ten times and it stand for almost 15 months.

the clutch packs may be times seized, get this to a trans tech for evaluation, i doubt that there is much that you can do at home with this problem.
