My car just stopped, I found the fuel cutoff switch tripped in the trunk, but I still am not hearing the fuel pump. And the fuel cutoff light is still on. What next?

Hello,

It sounds like the fuel cut off switch is faulty.
Check that switch and make sure it is reset.
If still the pump not coming on then unplug the switch. Check the connector that plugs into the switch.
These connectors have a tendency to melt over time.
If it looks corroded/melted you will have to change the connector.
If the connector is good then it is likely the switch that is faulty.

I have attached the reset and replacement procedure for your reference.

Pleas let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
