1997 Ford F-350 Repair Question

Ford F-350 Engine Problem
I have a 97 F350 2wd 5.8L engine - my rear fuel pump is down and the tank is totally full is there any way to romove gas besides taking tank down! Tryed syphering it out didnt work! Tube only goes so far

remove the fill hose at the tank and you can get about 7/8 of the tank by syphoning it out
