got a 1997 ford exploerer v6... starts and runs for few seconds then dies

I doubt it, could be ignition problem or fuel pump, can you get a scan done?

Check the fuel pressure if its within specs if okay clean the IACV and see what happens to include the MAF sensor-also go here https://www.2carpros.com/articles/engine-stalls
