Hello i have a 97 i keep getting dtc 0117 i had replace the ect sensor and repaired the wiring. if i clear the code it wont come on for a while highway driving but local driving it can come back on in 5 to 10 miles. should i change the the
I have replaced the ect sensor and had the wiring repaired. The light seems to stay out longer with highway driving as oppose to local driving. i was wondering should i change the thermostat and would that clear this dtc permately

Try replacing the thermostat and see what happens
