Ford Escort Door Problem
I have a 1998 ford escort zx2 and a ford escort four door, I am wondering if I could switch the motor of my zx2 into my four door. And what would be the difficult points to my whole situation.

is it the same motor?? if not, huge undertaking.

No they are not the same motor the zx2's where made with the 2.0 dual over head cams and the four door I haved only seen them with the 2.0 single over head cams just that on the motor comparmet the zx2's motor has alot more spaced then the other but im more concern because of the wireing one is fully automated on the inside and the other is not.
