does the check engine light have to come on before your truck will start because on a good day turn my key and their is my check engine light and my trans temp light like normal on a bad day turn my key check engine light and trans temp light not coming on then it will not crank up it will turn over just will not start one thing i have notice the automatic shut down relay clicking never heard that before but my fuel pump does run with or without check engine light
