What's the symptom?

If you're referring to installing a used computer, there is a huge precaution related to the factory-installed anti-theft system. If your car doesn't have it, you MUST use a computer from another car that also doesn't have it. If you install a used computer with anti-theft, it will teach that programming to the Body Computer and both computers will keep the car from starting. Then you will have to replace both computers. That programming can not be undone.

If you have anti-theft on your car, you can use any used Engine Computer but after that it will only work on another car with anti-theft. When you install it in your car, it will upgrade the programming automatically by learning it from the Body Computer and again, it can't be unlearned.
