My 1997 dodge intrepid was running yesterday. I put gas in it and drove home. Today it won't start. It turns over like it wants to start but won't.

My car drove fine the day before. I have the oil changed regularly. It turns over and want to start.

Check your fuel cap. If the cap isnt fully tightened and sealed it wont create the proper vacuum for the pump to work correctly and the fuel wont flow.

It's possible that the engine is flooded (this randomly happened to me once in my 99 Intrepid). Try holding the gas pedal all the way to the floor while you turn the ignition.
For your sake I hope you've fixed whatever your problem was already, but if anyone else searches for this I hope it can help.

Add fuel like throttle body cleaner and see if it runs on that . Spray it in the air intake hose.
