I replaced the fuel pump in the tank and when I turn the key on the gauges won't register. The volt gauge is reading below 8 volts with a new battery and charger on it and the fuel gauge is showing empty and it has 15 gallons of gas in it. It is not getting any spark to the coil or plugs. Could the ignition switch be bad causing it not to start.

Cold be but scan for codes and check fuel pressure first with a gauge but check fuses inside car and underhood as well as fusible link for damage.

All the fuses are good we checked in the truck and under the hood. The odometer flashes but none of the gauges move. It has an auto shut off relay that works when the fuel gauge gets low so it doesn't run the tank dry. I guess I will try the ignition switch and go from that
