Chevrolet Truck Gas Problem

In the summertime you have to bump the key to get it to start, if you crank it over it won't hit at all. Then it runs fine. In the winter time you have to put gas into the throttle body just to get it to start, once it does it has a serious hesitation when you give it alot of gas it sometimes will die and you have to put gas back into the throttle body again to get it to start. What could possibly cause my problem?
