Went for emmisions and they said my obdii system was not ready. They asked if any repairs had been done recently and I told them I changed the battery last night. They told me to drive the vehicle and it should reset or I can reset it myself. How can I reset this.

You can do this drive cycle yourself but the catalyst monitor is always the hardest to get to run.

So you need to make sure you follow this exactly as it states it or it will not run completely. A lot of people drive hundreds of miles before these monitors fully run but they are not trying to drive in this specific manner.

Keep in mind you will need to try and find a safe place to do this as there is accelerating and cruising required. As you can see the catalyst monitor requires 5 solid minutes of steady cruise above 60 MPH.

Please see the info below and let us know if you have other questions.

Thanks
