Chevrolet Silverado Battery Problem

Rebuilt Motor, Ran Great! Disconnected my battery to change the terminals and put some electric tape on some exposed wires on my radio. Reconnected the battery and the dash lights came on without my ignition being on, then took the cables back off and put them back on and it went away but when i start the truck it has a rough idle at first until it gets going and running. After it gets warm it runs great, but just started after I disconnected the battery. This is a 5.7l 350 vortec FI.

by removing the cable, you turned the pcm stupid, as i call it. it has to re learn to run correctly. all the adaptive memories are gone and have to be re learned. give it some time
