Slow acceleration

Slow to accelerate from a stopped position. Starts good for a few blocks then it is hard to accelerate from a stopped position. I have to keep pushing down on the gas pettle to get it to go from 2 rpms to 4 or 4 rpms then it will go back down to 2 rpms. Feels like somethin is jamed, clogged or stuck.

I had a transmission put in over two years ago. This problem started after I had the top manifold gasket replaced by a friend.
