Turn the ignition on and have to wait for the amp gage to click on before trying to start. Some times right away and some times a long delay maybe even a minute

When the problem is ongoing, I'd have to check feed to and from the ignition switch. Battery has a full charge, battery connections coming and going are all clean and tight. Part of the starter circuit is in the diagram below. If you have any questions, let us know.
