Chevrolet Cavalier Fuel pressure Problem

I had a leak in one of my fuel injectors so I decided to replace the o-rings.
After putting everything back together the at least 2 of the cylinders flood with gas and it will not start.
After doing some research I read that I should have take off the fuel pressure regulator before working on the injectors.
I tried to empty the cylinders by removing the spark plugs and taking off the fuse to the fuel pump.
Gasoline shot up from the cylinders as I tried to start the car.
They seem to have emptied but when I but the spark plugs back and tried to start the cylinders flooded again.
What should I do now?
Replace the fuel pressure regulator?
How do I empty the cylinders?

Thanks for your Help
