OUr wipers just quit working

When you say appeared to be working did you test power and ground with a test light
1 make sure there is power going to with the test light both sides of the fuse
2 pull the relay out test power with test light there
3 put relay back in turn wipers on feeling the relay at same time you should feel it click energizing
4 if no problems there go to the wiper motor under hood near firewall take test light connect to battery +test both wires to see if you have power there if power
take test light connect to ground battery test the other wire if ground is present and hot is present you have a bad wiper motor
and also the switch should have power and ground coming in
