Hello, I own a 1997 cadallic catera.
we had a code that told our tech that we had excess gas fume leak, crank sensor & no. 6 hole is missfiring ,he reset the codes, the check engine came back on(car ran rough). He rechecked check engine cod and only had no.6 missfiring in code he read, so he checked compression, it was 125 so he checked & replaced no. 6 spark plug(bad plug),he also replaced exaust manifold gasket because he had to remove to fix a broken stud in exaust flange. We got the car back, it ran fine no rough idle for aprox 1 day, the check engine light came back on,I had it checked and a p0175 too lean(bank 2) it has been running rough. And will not start after it has been runing, It will start again after letting it sit for aprox 15 to 20 minutes.
It runs rough and some times dies and you have to waite a while then it starts.

P0175 is a rich mixture not a lean mixture.

It has a couple of possibilities. The stall, and no start when warm is classic symptom of a faulty crank sensor. As it warms the resistance of the sensor gets higher, and maybe even open cicuit. The misfire, and resulting rich code, sounds to me like #6 is losing spark, and the injector pulsing fuel adds unburned fuel to bank 2, resulting in rich fuel measured by the oxygen sensor. If you can determine that #6 is losing spark, I would suggest replacing the ignition coil pack. It is a single coil pack for all cylinders, and is not real easy to access, sitting between the firewall, and the left(driver) bank of cylinders.
