Buick Regal Dimmer switch Problem

I recently changed the dimmer switch on a 1997 Buick Regal LS. Before removing the switch I noticed that the washer motor connector was already disconnected under the dash on drivers side. I know that it has to be the washer motor connector because it is the same shape, size and it is a two pin (Identical). Everything on the new switch works fine except for the winshield washing motor. No power. Does that connector hook up to the same junction as the dimmer switch under the dash to get its power. I looked everywhere under the drivers side dash for a stray connector to hook to with no luck. Hopefully you can help me out on this issue?

no, your dimmer switch is different power feed.

the washer switch has a key on power from the fuse box.
