BMW brake calipers
Can I replace my 1997 840Ci 4.4 V8's 4 pot front brake calipers with E38 7 series 4 pot brake calipers?

BMW does not show those units as interchangeable. The E38 calipers are single piston. I am not sure why the change would be to your advantage.
