1997 BMW 318i Repair Question

BMW 318i Dealer Problem
Mirror switch on the drivers door has 6 pegs that have different color wires how do i find what color goes to which number on the switch >>> Thanks... 97 Roadster bmw...

The fastest way is to visit the dealer and hope they will look it up and draw you a diagram. BMW does not release their service information to the public or to the aftermarket service manual providers. They want all the repair business for themselves, and put profits ahead of taking care of their customers. You can also visit one of the many pick-your-own-parts salvage yards and remove a mirror to look at the plug.
