My car runs fine until I've drove it for about 40 minutes. Then is bucks and sometimes backfires. It also sometimes dies.
If it dies, it will fire right back up, but will continue to do it until it has had time to cool down. If I sit at an idle, it will get to about 2000 RPM, them it will misfire. Also when it happens, it will not accelerate like it is losing fuel pressure, it will not rev up for about 30 seconds. I've replaced the plugs and wires, distributor and rotor button. The gas mileage has not been affected however, which leads me to think that is something to do with vacuum. Could it be bad 02 sensor?
