I was wondering why my carr usually sputters when I decelerate on first gear or just when i'm stopping?
Recently I have noticed that my 1.4 lt engine 1996 Corolla sputters almost every time I decelerate hitting first gear or stopping from any speed above first gear. It's really annoying me and I need top expert advice, that's when I saw you guys. Please inform me with any details that could help me.

Do you have a check engine light and when was last tune-up??
Try cleaning the IACV and EGR valve, also test the TPS and MAF sensors
