DASH BOARD INTERIOR LIGHTS

I installed a new cd player unit yesterday, and noticed that they gave me two harnesses and instead of using the factory harness, the deck was hooked up to another harness, all color coded, that went fine, I wasn't sure what to do with two wires that were not the same color orange, one said dimmer ground the other dimmer, when I put it all back having decided to try it connected, I noticed by interior dash board lights not working, this morning I pulled out the deck and un connected the two orange wires, so my question is, is that the problem, if so just leave the two wires un attached and that's ok, if not, did I blow a fuse, so where would that box be.I just got the car
