1996 Subaru Outback broken timing belt
1996 Subaru Outback. I have a broken timing belt. The engine is a 2.5 liter SOHC type. Is this engine an "Interference" fit type?

This motor should not damage valves, but it is good practice to check engine compressions as a precaution.
