96' Suberu lagacy
Timing belt-
I have the auto book.
My question is when aligning the timing marks to the notches on the caseing is there a specific direction i should be turning the pulleys to align the marks?

Rotate in clockwise manner

not really. just make shure when the belts on keep all the slack on the tensioner so when you pull the pin it sucks up all the slack,turn it clockwise atleast twice after and double check your marks
