Can I replace the old break fluid with new DOT 4 fluid although the cap of the break fluid tank says USE DOT 3 ONLY? Will I have problems?

Its just an upgrade from DOT3-you shouldn't have no problem if in doubt don't replace it-read its compatibility before you do it-

As long as you don't use DOT 5 which is silicon based and foams in abs systems you're ok.
