Tranny code I'm getting?

I have a 1996 saturn sl2 I just replaced the tranny with a JY tranny the code I'm getting does that mean its going bad, is bad or it just needs adjusting. It shifts through the gears ok, on dn shifts theres a throttle blip at each dn shift also when I put the car n2 reverse there's a jump half slam?

I need to know the exact code number not code description. Its a P followed by 4 digit number. Its most likely a bad selector switch but we have to do some testing first. Also see if the black wire is attached to the side of the selector switch on the transmission.
